Where do we meet the day of my trip? Most of the sites we utilize to launch our equipment are to access Lake Michigan, Birch Lake, Elk Lake & Torch Lake. We try to stay within a 10 mile radius of Elk Rapids. We have other launch sites if you are interested please make a note at check out so we can review your request. We embedded 'google directions' to help you out. Refer to these links on the day of your trip. We launch from two Elk Rapids Boat Launches, ER Harbor & ER Lake Launch. These are both located on the North side of Elk Rapids. ER Harbor Parking is available in the southwest portion of the parking lot. Please be a courteous neighbor. We will meet near the Pavilion on the Northwest corner of the Harbor. We can launch any of our equipment here. ER Lake Launch This is located West of The Dam Shop. Public parking is available along the roadside where prohibited parking is not identified on a sign. Please be courteous and anticipate about a 4-5 minute walk. We will meet you at the launch. We use two Kewadin launches, the Birch Lake Public Access launch & the Kewadin Kayak/Boat launch. Both of these are near the Milton Township Hall and can easily be found using google. Birch Lake Birch Lake is a small fishing lake. We suggest this only if you are a beginner or planning on kicking back for some NW Michigan Fishing. Jet Skis can get around this lake in a few minutes, so unless you are new to watersports we suggest only using Birch for Kayaking. If you plan to have us launch you on Birch, follow google directions for 'Birch Lake Launch' Kewadin as this can be difficult to locate if you are not from the area. Kewadin Elk Lake Launch Elk Lake is our preferred lake as it is very family oriented, not as deep and closer to the amenities of town. The Kewadin launch is a smaller launch which offers opportunities to get onto the water faster. This site can only be used for Jet Ski and Kayak launching as the ramp is not designed for our boat. We will meet at the boat ramp here. https://www.google.com/maps/dir//Kewadin+Kayak+Launch,+Kewadin,+MI+49648/@44.9298991,-85.3703042,16z There are multiple launches onto Torch Lake, but we prefer the Warring Road end launch as its quiet, often underutilized and allows us the most opportunities to give a full walk through of the equipment without the stresses of someone else waiting. Warring Road End Launch Here is a link to take you to google directions for the Warring Road End launch. This one is difficult to locate if you are unfamiliar. When you arrive, please park in the grass to give others the maximum amount of space to maneuver their boat trailers.
